I’m a Mississippi native who has called Alabama home for the past 25 years. I’ve always been drawn to color, texture, and the outdoors, and I find endless inspiration in the shapes, patterns, and beauty of the natural world.

I’ve been working with clay for more than 30 years and was a member of the Mississippi Craftsmen’s Guild for over a decade. Clay has become a wonderful way for me to explore my love of nature while creating pieces that are both whimsical and functional.

I work with both hand building and the potter’s wheel, using stoneware and Alabama clay fired in an electric kiln. I create my own botanical stamps, slips, and glazes, layering texture and color to give each piece its own personality. I love the little surprises that happen in the process and the individuality that comes with handmade pottery.

When I’m not playing with clay, you’ll find me hiking, cooking, or spending time with my grandchildren. Nature inspires me every day, and I hope a little of that joy and wonder comes through in the pieces I create.
